The App integrates with your Shopify store to generate and manage short share links for your products using the ittle.co URL Shortening API. By installing or using the App, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Information We Collect

When you install and use the App, we access limited data from your Shopify store to provide our services. This includes:

Product Information: Product titles, handles, IDs, and URLs used solely to generate short links for those items.
Metafields: Custom metafield data (custom.shorturl) used to store and sync short link information.
Store Information: Basic store details (store name, domain, and shop ID) provided by Shopify during authentication.
No Customer Data: We do not access, collect, or store any customer, checkout, or personal visitor data.

2. How We Use the Information

We use the collected information exclusively to:

Generate and manage short URLs for your Shopify products.
Sync and display short URLs on your product pages.
Maintain the link between your Shopify store and your ittle.co account.
Provide troubleshooting or support if requested.

We do not use your store data for analytics, marketing, or resale. All communication between your store and our servers is encrypted via HTTPS.

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We may share limited data with trusted service providers necessary to operate the App:

Shopify, Inc.: To authenticate and enable API access to your store.
ittle.co API: To generate and store short URLs securely.
MongoDB Atlas: For secure data storage, if applicable.

We do not sell, rent, or disclose your store or merchant data to any other third parties.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

Data related to your products and store is retained only while your App subscription is active.
When the App is uninstalled, all associated records are deleted from our systems within 30 days.
Metafield data (custom.shorturl) remains in your Shopify store under your control.
You may request immediate deletion by contacting support@ittle.co.

5. Security Practices

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including:

HTTPS encryption for all data transfers.
Secure storage of authentication tokens and API secrets.
No storage of customer or order data.
Periodic reviews and access controls for sensitive operations.

6. Merchant Rights

Request deletion of your data.
